Hi, I’m AMY!
As a teacher turned speech-language pathologist, my journey with literacy began sixteen years ago in my first classroom. Years of teaching and practicing clinically, working in schools, hospitals, homes, and remediating literacy with the Orton-Gillingham approach, has created the foundation for me to help you on your literacy teaching journey.
By sharing my knowledge and experience with parents, teachers, tutors, and therapists, in a to-the-point methodology, together we can stop the loss of precious learning time or loss of early intervention time for your student.
TESTIMONIALS
“Amy’s knowledge was pertinent when it came to navigating the world of dyslexia. As a parent, I was overwhelmed with all the information and suggestions that came along with a newly diagnosed eight year old boy. Amy was able to individualize a plan of instruction based on my child’s needs. She was simply a breath of fresh air!”

“Amy is dedicated to finding the best way that your child learns. She shared tips and alternate options to help my son with Apraxia. Amy was always willing to change the approach or use different techniques to get the best therapy experience for my son.”
– Shaunte
“Amy has not only been an educator to my child, but has also been a sounding board and friend to me. As an educator and mother, I wanted to tailor my daughter's individual learning and Amy was able to offer me different ways of teaching to target my daughter's needs.”
